Manager Overview
Federation invests in real estate, infrastructure and private businesses and assets that meet economic and social needs. The Federation team has expertise across a range of sectors, including clean power, education, healthcare, disability care, sectors servicing an ageing population, technology, and financials and fintech. It aims to serve investors seeking profit with purpose by investing in assets and businesses that meet social and economic needs across renewable energy, social infrastructure and private equity. Federation is a member of the Responsible Investment Association of Australasia and is a signatory to the UN Principles for Responsible Investment.
Manager's responsible investing approach
Federation believes the pathway to long-term value creation is to invest in companies and assets that address key ESG considerations including environmental impact, social impact and corporate governance. Federation invests in the areas that make the greatest net positive difference to society, and it believes in turn will produce the greatest long-term value. The Company's Investment Committee and investment team take into account ESG and ethical issues in its process of research, analysis, selection and monitoring of investments. It employs positive and negative screens to ensure that its investing activities are responsible.

Strategy Summary
The Fund's investment objective is to deliver significant capital growth over the medium to long-term primarily through investments across a range of private assets. The Fund targets companies with strong growth potential across the Asia-Pacific region and other jurisdictions as determined by the Investment Manager. Its primary investment focus is on direct and indirect equity investments, or such other investments if the Investment Manager foresees a pathway to equity. The sectors that the Fund Manager targets include clean power, education, healthcare, disability care, sectors servicing an ageing population, technology, and financials and fintech.
In November 2025 the Manager advised investors that the RE, Equity Trustees Limited (EQT) had resolved to temporarily restrict both subscriptions and redemptions from the Fund, and that investors would be notified as soon as applications and withdrawals have been reopened.
