Manager Overview
ECP Asset Management Pty Ltd (ECP) is a high conviction growth Australian equities fund manager and was established in 2012 by Dr Manny Pohl and Jared Pohl. A boutique investment manager 100% owned by its staff, there is an absolute alignment of interests between the staff and the clients. Co-founders Dr Manny Pohl and Jared Pohl were both formerly at Hyperion Asset Management (Manny as the founder), before launching ECP. The ECP investment team consists of six investment professionals and have a total of over 85 years investment experience. ECP Asset Management is an investment manager partner of Copia Investment Partners, an independent multi-boutique investment management group. Copia provides the resources and infrastructure such as distribution, marketing, operations and compliance services.
Manager's responsible investing approach
ECP Asset Management believes that environmental, social, and corporate governance factors can have a material impact on long-term investment outcomes. Considering ESG factors is part of its investment decision-making process and is fully integrated throughout its process. When assessing the long-term potential of an investment, it follows its proprietary "Pillars of a Quality Franchise" framework, whereby sustainability is a core foundational pillar. ECP communicate its approach to Responsible Investment on the ECP website and reports on its activities to its clients annually. ECP became a signatory to the United Nations-backed Principles for Responsible Investment Initiative (PRI) in 2016.

Strategy Summary
The Fund aims to invest in high quality businesses that are in the growth stage of their life cycle and have the ability to generate predictable, above average economic returns. These are referred to as quality franchises ("Quality Franchises"). The focus of ECP's investment philosophy is to invest in companies that exhibit the following criteria: high returns on equity, able to grow revenues above System; and do not hold large amounts of debt on their balance sheet (low capital intensity).Key Terms
