Morgan Stanley Investment Management (Australia) Pty Limited ACN 122 040 037 AFSL 314182 ("Sub-Investment Manager") is the Australian business of Morgan Stanley Investment Management ("MSIM") which is the asset management division of Morgan Stanley and leads the firm's work in global investment, offering investment and risk management solutions to investors worldwide. As of March 31, 2021, MSIM managed US$1.4 trillion in assets for its clients. The investment strategies span the risk/return spectrum across geographies, investment style and asset classes including equity and fixed income, alternatives and private markets. The Morgan Stanley Global Sustain strategy is managed by MSIM's International Equity Team. Strategy Summary
The Fund seeks an attractive long-term rate of return. It will seek to achieve its investment objective by investing in a concentrated portfolio (25 to 50 stocks) of what the Sub-Investment Manager believes to be high quality, dominant franchises characterised by sustainable and high returns on operating capital, powerful intangible assets including brands, networks, licenses and patents, and pricing power. The Sub-Investment Manager seeks to identify high-quality companies with capable management teams able to allocate capital effectively to grow the franchise and sustain and/or improve the return on operating capital.
