Pendal Sustainable Conservative Fund
Responsible Investing Approach
The Fund Manager actively seeks exposure to securities and industries that demonstrate leading ESG and ethical practices and exclude companies not meeting the investable criteria. The sustainability and ethical criteria employed include factors such as environmental issues, corporate governance, social practices, and ethical practices. The exclusionary screens may be applied differently across the asset classes of the Fund. Sustainable and ethical investment practices are incorporated into the Australian and international shares, Australian and international fixed interest and part of the Alternative investments components of the Fund. All other investments by the Fund are not assessed for sustainable and ethical investment practices.

Exclusions
The Fund will not invest in companies or issuers which are materially involved in activities related to fossil fuels, uranium, logging, gambling, pornography, weapons, alcohol, tobacco (including e-cigarettes and inhalers), animal cruelty, predatory lending, breaches and misconduct. These exclusions may be applied differently across the asset classes of the Fund.
