Responsible Investing Approach
The Fund invests in a diversified portfolio of companies listed on international stock exchanges and meets the Fund Manager's Ethical Criteria.
Environmental, social, and ethical considerations, including labour standards, are integrated into investment decisions. Australian Ethical utilises an Ethical Guide to outline how these factors inform their ethical evaluation process. The Ethical Criteria applied are a mix of prescriptive rules alongside more qualitative criteria which help identify, measure and balance the most significant positive and negative impacts of companies products, services and activities.
Australian Ethical's stewardship involves monitoring its investee companies and engaging to influence and encourage them to create more positive and avoid negative impacts. Australian Ethical reports on its ethical stewardship priorities, activity and progress in its annual Sustainability Report.
